My all-time favorite author is Francine Rivers. She is a Christian Inspirational writer. Her books give you an inside glimpse of what an intimate relationship with Jesus is like. Full of realistic life circumstances and loaded with personal advice and encouragement reading Rivers is like having a dear friend to tea. Redeeming Love, based on the Bible book Hosea, was a three-time read. Leota's Garden held many healing-of-the-heart moments for me. Just two of her many great works of art.

Francine Rivers had a successful writing career in the general market & won many awards from 1976-1985. After becoming a born-again Christian in 1986, Francine wrote her statement of faith through Redeeming Love.
Francine has continued to earn both industry acclaim and reader loyalty, including the prestigious romance Writers of America Rita Award.

Did you like The Little House on the Prairie books as a youth? Then you are sure to like Janette Oke (pronounced Oak). I like to describe her books as 'The grown-up version of the Little House books'. Several of her novels have been made into t.v. movies and can be found through your local library.
